Bad at titles

 

Language is a powerful medium. It is essentially telepathy, but we can only attain selective information. How cool is that. I’ve read that memes are just chunks of cultural ideas spreading from person to person like some kind of viral infection. The more effectively a society is able to spread their memes the more the society perseveres. Everything that we know until now were all in somebody’s head. So is there an original thought? What is an original thought? Everything is a derivative of some other thing, and I’m not saying it’s a bad thing. This just shows the power of information. How it is able to conceive, reform, and just adapt into various shapes and forms, customised to each and every individual. The power this selective telepathy medium called language holds is enormous. In fact there are many mediums (or media, sue me) through which mankind have been propagating their mind bugs. Art is a great example, and it is truly wonderful to see how much influential art as a medium have become. Movies, music, shows, theatre, paintings and countless other forms of art showcasing the profound depths with which it explores everything under the sun. Artists putting their brain child out into the world for people to see a part of themselves in it. Whether it be a superhero or some random high school kid, we either aspire to be them or see ourselves in them. We have at least once daydreamed of saving the city one Tuesday afternoon in class while the teacher’s voice in the background gradually becomes some muffled static white noise. Get that shit on paper (or pdf), become famous. Behold, the daydream material for some other kid. This might be an oversimplification of matters, but at least that’s how I interpret it. So fear not lads and lass’s, bring out your creativity, what if it inspires a few dozen people. (I don’t guarantee 100% success rate and by ‘inspire’ it may be in the form of a 500 words long essay on how every word you’ve typed is plain stupidity, but hey, that’s the risk one must be willing to take) Buenos noches!

Sleep, Dreams and Whatnot

After being knocked out for 2 hours (sleeping) and getting high on caffeine (1 cup of coffee), I’ve had the urge to write this. Intrusive thoughts: The tale

 I don’t know where to start, where to begin. For all I know, this is gonna end up in the recycle bin of my PC (sike). This may be considered as a word vomit coming directly from my mind…so you’re here, trapped with my conscience. Sounds intimidating right? Let’s start with the age-old question. What the fuck are we doing here? To answer that we seek several paths. Some may find answers in their faith and some in fellow beings. People find comfort in faith because it gives the answer that our purpose is given by the divine one. Whenever we are lost, there is someone looking out for us, even if it is not apparent.
